Hello Performing Arts School Families,

For our High School Students and their families: please read the attached document in your email for more details.

This adjustment impacts the rehearsals for our high school Spring Musical on April 16th and 17th.

This new schedule includes the following updates:

  • PSAT and SAT testing will happen April 15th, 16th, and 17th.
  • We will only test one grade level per day: Tuesday 9th PSAT, Wednesday 11th SAT, Thursday 10th PSAT and 11th CMAS.
  • When students are not testing, they will NOT attend classes in the morning.
  • All PASB students who are involved in the production of Freaky Friday are invited and encouraged to return to the MAC at 1:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday for the final dress rehearsals.

Please note as well for middle school that CMAS testing for 7th and 8th grade will also occur this week on April 15th-17th.

From the PASB PiE - Support Students with a Comfort Closet!

We believe that every student deserves a nurturing environment where they can thrive and we know that children learn better when their basic needs are being met. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the Comfort Closet, a new initiative designed to support our students in meeting their basic needs. A Comfort Closet provides PASB students with free access to essential items such as hygiene products, non-perishable food items, clothing, school supplies, and other self-care necessities. This resource is designed to be readily accessible throughout the school day for all members of our PASB community.

We invite you to be a part of this meaningful endeavor by contributing to the Comfort Closet. We are actively seeking donations for the following items:

Hygiene Essentials: toothbrushes, toothpaste, face soap, shampoo, body wash, deodorant, tampons, pads, hair ties, hair brushes, combs, etc

Nourishment: non-perishable snacks and easy to make meal options to take home or enjoy for lunch.

Clothing: plain shirts, sweatpants, sweaters, socks, and underwear.

School Supplies: pencils, notebooks, folders, binders, pencil holders, erasers, and sharpeners, etc

These items can be brought to the office at anytime

You can donate items online from our amazon wish list (and share it easily with friends and family)https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1CM3LBQAXI15A?ref_=list_d_wl_ys_list_2

You can also make a monetary donation directly to PASB Partners in Education which will be used to keep the Comfort Closet stocked https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/972bcb74-a3a2-48d5-8a94-0508d94f5d44

The Comfort Closet is a symbol of collective care. Through this effort we foster a sense of empathy and interconnectedness, encouraging a culture of care and mutual support. Together, let’s make a positive impact and build a Comfort Closet that reflects the compassion and strength of our community!

Best,
